Tongue tie division

Ankyloglossia, also known as tongue-tie means the tip of the tongue cannot be extended properly, causing problems with babies latching onto both breast and bottle.

I offer tongue-tie division on a private basis.

I can offer tongue tie division for babies up to 9 months old and will perform the procedure for feeding problems (either breast or bottle), concerns about speech development, future dental or cosmetic reasons.

I am happy to accept referrals from parents as well as other midwives, health visitors or GP's.

I normally charge around £90 + petrol costs depending on the distance you require me to travel.  I aim to perform tongue-ties as promptly as possible, especially when there is an urgent feeding issue.  Please email or telephone me for availability.  I will normally travel up to 60-70 minutes drive from Southampton.
