Fees

Like all independent midwives, I have to charge for my services. My fees are £3,100 for total midwifery care for your entire pregnancy, labour and for 28 days postnatally. There are no extra additional charges.

 
I offer a reduction of £500 for previous clients. I usually ask for a deposit of £500, and then we can arrange further instalments to suit you.

Although I prefer most clients to have paid in full by 37-38 weeks, I am happy to negotiate payment beyond this time if you have financial difficulties.

I charge £50 for an initial consultation at your home, which is then used towards your fees if you decide to book with me.

Your fee covers all my care and also the care provided by a back-up midwife if I feel I would like another midwife present for the labour or birth. I can also arrange all blood and screening tests, also ultrasound scans, either privately (at additional cost) or through the NHS.
